1. General Cancellation Policy

Solo Adventures understands that sometimes travel plans change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair to both travelers and our business partners while covering non-refundable costs incurred on your behalf.

  • All cancellations must be notified in writing via WhatsApp or email
  • Cancellation charges are calculated from the date we receive written notification
  • Refunds will be processed within 7-10 working days after cancellation
  • Refunds will be made to the original payment method

2. Special Circumstances

2.1 Medical Emergencies

In case of medical emergencies (with valid medical certificate), we may waive or reduce cancellation charges at our discretion. Each case will be evaluated individually.

2.2 Force Majeure Events

If trips are cancelled due to natural disasters, government restrictions, or other force majeure events, we will provide full credit for future trips or process refunds after deducting non-recoverable costs.

2.3 Trip Cancellation by Solo Adventures

If we cancel a trip due to insufficient participants or operational reasons, you will receive a full refund or can transfer to another available trip.

3. Modification Policy

3.1 Date Changes

  • Date changes more than 15 days before departure: ₹500 processing fee
  • Date changes 8-14 days before departure: ₹1,500 processing fee
  • Date changes less than 7 days: Subject to availability and cancellation charges

3.2 Trip Upgrades/Downgrades

Trip modifications to different packages are subject to availability and price differences. Processing fees may apply.

4. No-Show Policy

Travelers who fail to show up at the designated meeting point without prior notification will be considered as "no-show" and will not be eligible for any refund.

5. Partial Trip Cancellation

If you need to leave the trip early due to personal reasons:

  • No refund will be provided for unused portions of the trip
  • Any additional costs incurred due to early departure will be borne by the traveler
  • We will assist in arranging transportation if needed (at additional cost)

6. Group Booking Cancellations

For group bookings (5+ people), special terms may apply:

  • Individual cancellations within a group booking follow standard policy
  • If group size reduces below minimum requirements, trip may be cancelled
  • Group leaders are responsible for communicating with all group members

7. Travel Insurance Recommendation

Important: We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect against unforeseen circumstances that may affect your travel plans. Travel insurance can provide coverage for trip cancellations, medical emergencies, and other travel-related issues.

8. How to Cancel

To cancel your booking, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact us immediately via WhatsApp or email
  2. Provide your booking reference number and personal details
  3. State your reason for cancellation
  4. We will confirm the cancellation and applicable charges
  5. Refund will be processed within 7-10 working days

This cancellation policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with the updated date. For bookings made before policy changes, the policy in effect at the time of booking will apply.
